Dr Jorgensen recently joined the International Society of Pelvic Surgeons (ISOPS) and met with fellow members in Dallas at the ISOPS Annual Spring Meeting (30-31 May, 2026. The meeting introduced the concept of a world-leading think tank, with the goal to create a global academic community specilaising in the treatment of Pelvis and Acetabular Trauma. Pelvis and Acetabular Trauma is unique due to its complexity, it relative infrequency and the individual nature of fractures occurring in often multi-trauma patients. At the core of it’s mission, ISOPS strives to link surgeons from around the world through academic research that endeavors to develop standardized treatment strategies based on sound scientific and clinical evidence.
It was a honour to be invited to join as a member. The group includes world-leading Pelvic and Acetabular Trauma Surgeons from around the world. It’s been a privilege to meet and discuss cases and complexities.
