Dr Jorgensen was selected as the Australian Youth Ambassador Representative at the recent Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (AOPA) 2025 Annual Meeting in Cairns. Along with 14 other representatives from the Asia Pacific Region, Dr Jorgensen was invited to discuss the orthopoaedic care in Australia, and presented on a number of topics. The program also incorporated local hospital visits, exchange of ideas and cultural beliefs from around the region.
“The Asia Pacific region encompasses nearly half the world’s population, with diverse locations, health care systems and requirements. Australia is a geographically large area, but small population wise, and it was a privilege to discuss and gain a better understanding of our neighbours challenges and opportunities and advances in orthopaedic care.”
